Rob Caouette – CEO

Rob Caouette – CEO of Redhead Artificial Lift

Rob is a true blue Albertan, born and raised in the Edmonton area and still lives in Calgary today. He started in the oil and gas industry 27 years ago and brings this wealth of experience to Redhead today.

Rob started his career in Air and Underbalanced drilling operations with Weatherford Drilling Services. He worked on the rig sites for several years before moving into operations management and eventually into sales with that company.

In 1998, Rob transitioned to artificial lift, specializing in surface rod pumping equipment. Over the next 14 years at Weatherford ALS, he led the Production Optimization and Pumping Unit businesses to triple digit growth.

In 2012, Rob joined Platinum Pumpjack Services and led the technical, sales and marketing department. He also assisted in the acquisition of Platinum by Schlumberger and helped with the ever important transition process.

November 2017 would prove to be a very significant period in Rob’s life. It was during this time that he decided many majors have lost touch with the Canadian oil patch and lacked the desire to fastidiously serve the customers. He sought to build a company that had the required depth and scale but also the nimbleness to respond to customer’s needs quickly and creatively if need be. Thus was born Redhead Artificial Lift and the rest is history in the making.
