Todd was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta where he graduated from SAIT. He began his oilfield career with Weatherford in their ALS division who provided Todd with experience in all forms of artificial lift. Most of his time in artificial lift he specialized in light oil production to focus on reciprocating rod pump systems, automation, and pumpjacks. When the opportunity to join Redhead in 2020 it was an easy decision to return to what he has enjoyed the most over his career.
