Two Industry Leaders Set To Redefine Service & Quality for Pumping Units
Redhead Artificial Lift Ltd., along with R&L Pumpjack Services is excited to announce R&L will now be selling Redhead Pumping Units to supplement their already strong market share in West Central Alberta. Redhead will maintain a secondary inventory of units in Drayton Valley to supplement our full inventory in Lloydminster, which will allow customers more flexibility in deliveries, logistics and overall cost.
West Central Alberta includes the area from Calgary to Whitecourt, and as far as Three Hills (to the east). This area is significant as it encompasses some of the largest oil plays in Canada, such as the Cardium and Duvernay regions. It has also been one of the most intensive pumping areas in Canada, and with increased activity in the Cardium, as well as potential for the Duvernay, it will continue as a very large market for rod pumping vendors in the future.
During the last downturn, large multinational companies pulled out of Drayton Valley, leaving the work of maintenance up to local private service companies. Now, with manufacturers having little if any inventory locally, Redhead is excited about the opportunity to provide better service and product availability to our customers in the area. With R&L located in the middle of the “action”, it can now provide a valuable benefit to producers. Currently, there are no manufacturers carry inventory in Drayton Valley, requiring extra freight to be incurred when companies are required to transport to the field. Additionally, operational advantages with quicker response times, and long term parts and service, and an experienced installation team.
The key to the local success of R&L Pumpjack Services lies with Randy Pahl, who for over 40 years, has been an integral part of the Drayton Valley pumpjack business. Built upon this extensive experience, R&L has a large, well-trained staff that can install pumping units from start to end – including transportation to site, pile driving, installation and commissioning.
